Cinnamon Bay Campsite
Cinnamon Bay is committed to preserving
the natural surroundings of St. John and offering guests
a tranquil and intimate camping experience.
All accommodations, while private and serene, are within
a two to five minute walk to Cinnamon Bay Beach, the longest
beach on St. John.
The preservation of the national park extends
to the waters surrounding St. John, so snorkeling here is
unsurpassed. Cinnamon Bay has a fully equipped water sports
center with a trained staff, where windsurf boards, sea
kayaks and sailboats are available for rental.
COTTAGES:
Tucked away among the trees are screen-lined cottages, providing
refreshing breezes from the trade winds. Each cottage is
15 by 15 feet, with electric lights and an outside terrace.
All are equipped with four twin beds, fan, picnic table,
charcoal grill, propane gas stove, ice chest, water container,
cooking and eating utensils. Beds are made upon arrival,
and fresh linens are available at the front desk twice a
week. Cribs are available upon request. All accommodations
offer easy access to nearby central bathhouses, which include
lavatories and cool water showers.
TENTS:
Durable tents are designed to be both comfortable and efficient.
Each tent, made of high-quality canvas, is 10 by 14 feet,
with a solid floor. Cots, picnic table, charcoal grill,
propane gas stove, ice chest, water container, gas lantern,
and cooking and eating utensils are provided. Bedding is
provided upon arrival, and fresh linens are available at
the front desk twice a week.
BARESITES:
Baresites, fitting one large tent or two smaller tents,
are also available. A picnic table and charcoal grill are
provided. Campers are responsible for their own tent, bedding,
towels and cooking utensils. All accommodations offer easy
access to nearby central bathhouses, which include lavatories
and cool water showers.
RATES & ACCOMMODATIONS:
Daily rates are based on double occupancy. Maximum four
occupants; supplemental charge for third and fourth person.
Daily rates do not include 8% USVI tax on cottages or tents.
No tax on baresites. Package components are non transferable
and non-refundable. Cinnamon Bay is closed for the month
of September.
