The Inn at Tamarind Court is a charming twenty room inn located just three blocks from the ferry dock in Cruz Bay. The convenient location provides a great base for exploring the island of St. John. Shops, restaurants, bars as well as the Virgin Island National Park Visitors Center are all within an easy walk of the inn.

Tamarind Court offers a wide variety of accommodations in our effort to provide economical lodging for singles, couples, families and small groups. Our economy room provides the least expensive accommodation for the single traveler visiting St. John. Six economy rooms share two bathrooms just across the hall. We also offer eleven standard rooms equipped with either one queen or two twin beds and a private bath. Our apartment is popular with those who wish to have cooking facilities. The bedroom has a queen size bed and the combination living room/kitchen has a full size refrigerator, microwave oven and countertop cook surface. Popular with families and small groups are our two family suites. The suites feature two bedrooms with a connecting interior door as well as separate exterior entrances. One bedroom has a queen size bed with a bath off of it while the other bedroom (reached through the interior door) has two twin beds. All rooms are non-smoking.

All our rooms have cable T.V, small refrigerators and are fully air conditioned with individual window units as well as ceiling fans to augment the tropical tradewinds. Our housekeeping staff provides daily maid service.

Our tropical courtyard is the focal point and social gathering spot at the Inn. Upon entering through the wrought iron gates your eye is delighted by the green leaf canopy of giant flamboyant trees. Market umbrellas provide shade for the table and chairs surrounding the fountain. Our bar, located on the patio in the courtyard, is the perfect spot for a frozen drink, cold beer or rum punch after a day of exploring St. John.

The bar is equipped with a 61 inch Sony TV, for watching movies and sporting events. There is a paperback book lending library for your enjoyment.

The Inn at Tamarind Court Restaurant offers a full breakfast menu. Breakfast at the Inn is very popular with guests and locals alike because the food is great and prices very reasonable. During high season we often have visiting Chefs prepare meals in the evening. This too has been a hit on the Island.
