Drake Channel. Then anchor in New Found Bay, a remote
cove accessible only by boat, protected by fringing coral
reefs, great for snorkeling. Then sail to uninhabited
Flanagan Island. This eastern most U.S. cay has excellent
snorkeling around large steep rock formations, a small
sandy beach and loads of sea birds that nest here annually.
Later we hoist sail and head for the setting sun over
Coral Harbor.

Set sail from Coral Harbor into the Caribbean Sea then
around Flanagan Island passing close by Norman Island.
Sail on down the Sir Francis Drake Channel to Leinster
Bay for lunch and snorkeling by Water Lemon Cay. Later
sail north into the North Atlantic around Sandy Cay and
Green Cay, near Jost van Dyke, then back up the Narrows
around east end to Coral Bay. An exciting day with lots
of great sailing, tropical scenery and sea life!
3) HURRICANE HOLE
~ WATER LEMON CAY ~ FLANAGAN ISLAND
Explore the quiet mangrove lagoons of Hurricane Hole,
a protected breeding ground for fish and wildlife. Then
sail down the Francis Drake Channel to Water Lemon Cay.
Snorkel around the cay and enjoy the beach or hike to
the ruins around the bay. Then a great sail up the Narrows
with a stop at Flanagan Island or just a longer sightseeing
course further east up the Drake Channel into the B.V.I.
before heading for Coral Bay.

JOHN ~ VIA FOUR SEAS
