Explore the islands on a power Catamaran
Lion in da Sun charters is one of the oldest running charters in the islands, they know all the best snorkeling spots in the USVI and the BVI’s, and keep you entertained with local facts and stories while in transit between these great snorkeling destinations.
Not only will they take you to the most popular snorkeling spots, but also stop by the most popular spots to see, or have lunch & drinks.
Nothing is set in stone, talk to your captain if you want to move on somewhere new, or change where you want to go mid trip, often the captain will give you some options and ask what you would like to do.
Our captains are USCG licensed, highly experienced, and familiar with the US and British Virgin Islands.
Both boats come equipped with snorkel gear and a cooler with ice and bottled water. You may also feel free to bring whatever else you like. All ages are Welcome!
The Boats
Scout 1 – 28ft
Our Scout boat (Lion In Da Sun) is a 28ft powerboat featuring:
- Up to 9 passengers
- Twin 225 HP Mercury 4 stroke engines
- More shade than most other boats
- Best fuel consumption rating in its class
- Cooler with ice & water (bring what you like)
- All snorkel gear included
Scout 2 – 26ft
Our Twin Vee is a 26 ft power catamaran that features:
- Up to 6 passengers
- Twin Yamaha 115 HP 4 stroke engines
- More shade than most boats in its class (9ft x 10ft)
- Great access ladder and grab rails for ease of re-boarding after a swim!
- Wrap around railings to keep your family safe.
- Cooler with ice & water (bring what you like)
- All snorkel gear included
